Chestnut Hill Farms is a community of 135 homes located in Clarkston, Michigan. Clarkston is a small town located on the I-75 corridor approximately halfway between Detroit and Flint. Chestnut Hill Farms is within walking distance of historic downtown Clarkston with its shops, lovely mill pond and surrounding historic homes, as well as its highly-rated schools.

 

Chestnut Hill Farms is managed by the Board of Directors of the Chestnut Hill Farms Association.   All Chestnut Hill Farms' roads are paved.  Water and sewer utilities are provided by the Independence Township Department of Public Works. DTE Energy provides power through an underground distribution system. Gas is provided by Consumers Energy. Fire hydrants are located throughout the subdivision and the Independence Township Fire Department, manned by full-time firefighters, is located nearby. Police services are provided by the Oakland County Sheriff's Department. All homeowners enjoy free access to the Deer Lake beach and boat launch facilities.

 

Grocery stores, hardware stores and many other shops are located within walking distance. Other shopping is readily available, including the Great Lakes shopping mall. Medical facilities are nearby. So too are beautiful Oakland County parks and many churches of various denominations. The Pine Knob ski slope is only three miles away and the Mount Holly ski area is approximately ten miles away.
